    • Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts.

    • Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
    • Develop a customer management plan by area to maximize time with customers in order to seek new business and enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with service and parts support and by responding to customer concerns or requests.
    • Utilize online CRM to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
    • Discuss sales activities with management.

  2. Position Name:  Mold Room Technician (1st Shift)

    Description:

    • Prepare cable jackets and mold tools in accordance with Vermillion Process Standards or verbal instructions
    • Measure and mix compounds per manufacturer’s instructions
    • Fill components with potting material
    • Operate convection oven to assemble molds for injection molding
    • Operate transfer press machine, moving cable assemblies and molds in and out of the press.
    • Position requires the employee to have clear vision at 20 inches or less (with or without the use of corrective lenses) and color vision

  3. Position Name:  Program Assistant/Administrative Assistant

    Description:

    The primary function of this position is to establish and maintain a healthy relationship with assigned customer. The Program Administrator will be responsible for handling customer requests, order status inquiries, planning for manufacturing job orders, provide daily shop support, and resolving issues.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Quote prices and bid packages for existing and new customers
    • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner
    • Develop new business by working with representatives, finding opportunities on Government bid boards and through internet searches
    • Enter and maintain customer purchase orders in SyteLine
    • Maintain RFQ Log by assigning quote numbers when RFQs are received and distributing to appropriate departments both internally and externally
    • Create proposals for customer by combining required information from the RFQ package and pricing sheets and communicate to appropriate parties.
    • Monitor assigned customer schedules, changes, etc. using internet portals as well as any other necessary means of communication
    • Ensure assigned customer updates are made to the Production Schedule and communicated to the affected parties
    • Maintain copies of invoices in Customer Service Department
    • Maintain Accounts Receivable for assigned customers
    • Provide ad hoc reporting for Management
    • Recommend process and procedure improvements
    • Serve external and internal customers by managing the front desk

    MOLD ROOM TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT (MONDAY-THURSDAY, 10 HOUR DAYS)

    Vermillion Incorporated, a leader in interconnect cable solutions for the military and aerospace industries, is seeking Mold Room Technicians to fill a 2nd Shift opening in our manufacturing facility.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Qualified candidates will have: Excellent work history, Basic hand tool knowledge, High school diploma or equivalent, Manufacturing experience a plus, Reasoning skills, Excellent communication skills. Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed.

    Position Purpose and Objective

    The primary function of this position is to process potted and molded wire harness bundles through repetitive tasks using mold tools and potting/ mold materials while simultaneously ensuring all work is done to specification. In addition to potting and molding, transfer press cable identification harnesses as required.

  5. Position Name:  Electrical Engineer ($3,000 Sign On Bonus)

    Description:

    • Provide engineering technical support and design input for projects
    • Conceive, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for bulk cable, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, and various interconnect/electromechanical assemblies that fit Vermillion’s technical expertise
    • Provide a wide range of technical and management expertise in the various aspects of manufacturing
    • Technically document procedures and processes
    • Provide an interface between operations, sales, and engineering functions
    • Ensure that requirements for efficient processes, practices, and technologies for manufacturing are  addressed on a timely basis
    • Plan for and implement new programs and products into production in a timely and cost effective manner
    • Prepare and present relevant information for make or buy decisions and program reviews
    • Identify potential manufacturing-related risks on new and developing programs; develop risk reduction plans to eliminate them

    Qualifications

    • A four-year technical degree (e.g. BSEE, BSEET, BSME, BSMET, or equivalent) required
    • At least two years experience in manufacturing required; cable/harness industry preferred
    • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards
    • Demonstrated project management experience
    • Proficient in technical writings and good documentation skills
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required
    • Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively and establish priorities
    • CAD, AutoCad, and Inventor Professional Series experience preferred
    • MRP system experience
    • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, including Microsoft Access
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of quality workmanship standards (i.e. ANSI, Mil-Specifications, ISO)

  6. Position Name:  Aerospace Assembly Technician (1st Shift)

    Description:

    • Layout – Routing of wiring bundles on a form board, cutting to specific length, hand cabling of wire bundle to specified lay ratios, installing IDs at specified lengths
    • Strip/Crimp – Stripping back wire at specified lengths and crimping on contacts/wire lugs, use various hand-operated or automated tools to perform strip/crimp tasks
    • Solder Sleeves – Stripping shielded and/or jacketed wire to specified length, exposing shield and/or inner conductor, installing solder sleeves, which may or may not include jumper wire
    • Insertion – Inserting crimped and empty contacts into various types of connectors, ensuring proper seating and checking retention
    • Torque – Tightening connector assemblies and back shells to torque specifications
    • Tape – Installing miscellaneous types and widths of tape by machine or by hand to meet specified overlap requirements
    • Close/Band – Installing miscellaneous types of bands to secure shield and/or metal over braiding to connectors and back shells
    • Develop an understanding of the principles of continuity and operation of test equipment
    • Perform all duties in accordance with Vermillion Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment

As a leader in custom cable solutions for the military and aerospace industries, Vermillion is looking for a candidate who can manage the shipping and receiving and inventory departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of their product. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving department, maintaining inventory levels, and supervising a team of shipping and receiving associates.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise and manage shipping and receiving staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
    • Ensure that all products are packed and shipped according to company standards, using appropriate packaging materials and shipping labels
    • Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality control departments to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet customer specifications
    • Confer with Quality Assurance Manager to resolve quality concerns with incoming shipments, including both product and documentation issues
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies as needed
    • Develop and implement procedures to optimize shipping and receiving processes and improve overall department efficiency
    • Analyze and resolve customer purchase order or documentation issues
    • Analyze and resolve incoming/shipping/inventory quantity discrepancies
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shipping and receiving department

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
    • Knowledge of MIL Spec requirements for cable products is a plus.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory management software.
