About the Role

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be a key contributor to ensuring Vermillion’s products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. In this hands-on role, you’ll conduct in-process and final inspections, perform first article reviews, and execute automated testing of terminated assemblies. You’ll also be responsible for compiling comprehensive job packets that include critical documentation such as material certifications, calibration records, and training validations. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will support the integrity of our manufacturing process and ensure customer satisfaction.

About You

You are a meticulous, quality-focused professional with a strong understanding of inspection processes and a knack for precision. You\'re experienced with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters, and you\'re comfortable using measurement tools to achieve tight tolerances. You bring strong computer skills and organizational abilities, and you’re familiar with assembling detailed documentation packets. With keen eyesight and excellent color vision, you’re confident in your ability to spot even the smallest discrepancies. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of Vermillion products in either bulk or term areas (Excluding Complex Assemblies)
  • Perform first article inspections in either bulk or term areas (Excluding Complex Assemblies)
  • Perform automated testing of terminated assemblies
  • Generating job packets for conformity inspection, including but not limited to gathering material certificates, calibration records, training records, and engineering packets
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Vermillion Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Applications
  • General knowledge of tools, including calipers, micrometers, and multimeters
  • This position requires that the employee hold all process inspection stamps for area of expertise
  • Ability to use measuring tools to measure lengths accurately and precisely is required; certain responsibilities may require precision to within 1/32 inch
  • Good organizational skills
  • This position requires the employee to have clear vision at 20 inches or less (with or without the use of personal corrective eyewear)
  • The position also requires color vision in order to identify and distinguish colors
